Financière de l’Echiquier believes that the level of a company’s social responsibility has a direct influence on its development.
Looking at criteria other than financial aspects (environmental, social and community-based factors) helps to improve our knowledge of companies and to assess our risks more accurately as investors. When assessing companies for all of our funds, we include analysis of non-financial factors.
Financière de l’Echiquier carries out its SRI analysis internally.
Assessing the quality of a company’s management of its social or environmental policy comes down to belief in what the company stands for. Our analysis is based on discussions carried out systematically by fund managers and analysts and devoted solely to the issue of SRI. The findings are then incorporated into an in-depth analysis of the company and are subject to regular follow-up discussions.
Financière de l’Echiquier is a signatory to the United Nations Principles (PRI) for Responsible Investment.
In 2008, Financière de l’Echiquier signed up to the Principles for Responsible Investment that are backed by the United Nations. This clearly demonstrates our commitment to responsible finance.
