The “Fondation Financière de l’Echiquier” is active in France helping those with social and professional difficulties.
Since creation in 2004 with the support of the “Fondation de France”, the Foundation has already backed the development of around 60 insertion projects via jobs and training.
It is financed by Financière de l’Echiquier and a few private donors.
Financière de l’Echiquier is sponsoring Thomas Normand in the Mini Transat, solo transatlantic yacht race between La Rochelle and Bahia, due to set off in 2011. Financière de l’Echiquier staff will accompany him on the bridge of his 6.5m long yacht and are proud to lend him their values and colours.
